This is a full-time remote position with occasional travel (up to 15%) to customer sites and industry events across the U.S.

What You’ll Love To Do:
Serve as the lead point of contact for all strategic account retention and growth efforts within assigned territory
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Understand client objectives, pain points, and priorities; create strategic plans that deliver value and align solutions with client needs.
Identify and engage key client stakeholders, including champions, end-users, professional development teams, and economic buyers.
Manage and grow existing client accounts to ensure high retention and maximize growth potential.
Leverage a comprehensive service offering that can be purchased by every academic department at every level (school and district) to grow assigned accounts.
Unleash the power of virtual instructional coaching and professional development services to move the needle faster for clients.
Develop and execute account growth strategies, including territory planning and pipeline management.
Maintain and nurture a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate tracking.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales strategies, messaging, and presentations to clients.
Negotiate and close retention and growth sales.
Seamlessly partner with EdConnective Success for implementation and account development.
Capitalize on insights from the EdConnective Coach team as they coach at all levels, facilitate Professional Learning Communities and deliver workshops.
Regularly report on account opportunities, sales forecasts, and market trends, identifying potential headwinds and tailwinds.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to proactively identify opportunities for clients.

3+ years of relevant work in K-12 vertical (account management, or similar)—especially in edtech, education, human resources or services.
A proven ability to connect with and support K–12 leaders effectively.
Communication confidence. You meet school leaders where they are by demonstrating excellent communication skills across all media - virtual, phone, social media, events, email, proposals, or presentations to uncover opportunities and create urgency to solve problems.
The ability to turn data into decisions — spot trends, surface insights, and show customers the impact that keeps them coming back.
Tech-savviness and fluency with tools like Salesforce and virtual collaboration platforms
Self-starter with a collaborative mindset; thrives in a remote work environment with minimal supervision.
Respect for the work of educators and a personal commitment to their success
Willingness to travel up to 15% for in-person customer meetings and events across the U.S.
